New Toy

This is mainly a post to see if my new toy - an iPhone - will work to post to Blogger. This thing is addicting! I'm still getting used to typing and the autocorrect. Let's just hope I don't end up like these people!

Checking In

I know, I know...it's been over two months since I last posted! I'd like to promise that I will become a somewhat regular blogger again, but truth be told I'm not sure how much time I will have for blogging this summer. Since March, things have been going well. My mom, who is a big runner, wanted my sisters and I to run a 5K with her on Mother's Day since we were all planning spending that weekend with her. When my gym membership ended at the end of March, I decided to start running outside to train for the 5K instead of renewing my gym membership. I didn't do as well with training as I would have liked nor did I do as well in the 5K as I wanted to, but I finished it! When the spring quarter ends in June, I plan on signing up for the gym membership again so I can get back into a regular exercise routine. For some reason, I am much more disciplined with working out when I have a gym I can go to. Maybe it's the fact that I know I'm paying money for something, so I better make it worth the money. Or the fact that I go straight there after work (no going home first). Or the fact that I really do not like running. Or maybe all of those :)

This summer looks like it's shaping up to be pretty busy. Between my sister's wedding and a bunch of fun weekend things I have going on, my whole summer is pretty much planned out already. It looks like things will be pretty crazy at work too. Hopefully my summer will be the good kind of busy mixed in with the right amount of fun and relaxation as well. After this long, cold winter and dreary, rainy spring I am SO ready for a nice summer!
